The Miguel (Diamond) Pop! is not considered rare in the traditional sense, as it was a standard mass-produced release from Funko's 2017 Disney catalog. While the diamond finish distinguishes it from the standard vinyl version, these figures were widely distributed and are generally easy to find in new or used condition. Its value is typically modest, reflecting its common availability rather than limited production numbers.

To authenticate your 2017 Miguel (Diamond) Pop! (SKU 303), first verify that the box is sealed with the standard Funko shrink wrap and that the window is intact, as diamond editions were typically sold exclusively in sealed packaging. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper joint articulation, and the correct diamond finish on the base, which should be distinct from the standard matte plastic. You can cross-reference the SKU and year against official Funko release lists or reputable collector databases to confirm the item's existence and expected specifications. If the packaging or figure quality seems off, consulting a professional authentication service is recommended, as counterfeit Funko products do exist.

To condition-check a Miguel (Diamond) Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or discoloration, paying close attention to the face, hands, and any intricate details like the guitar. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the figure stands upright without wobbling, which can indicate a loose joint or base issue. Additionally, examine the original box for shelf wear, corner damage, and ensure the window is free of cracks or fogging, as these factors significantly impact the item's collectible value.
