Common questions about the Mike And Ike Pop! Foodies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mike and Ike Pop! Foodies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's widely distributed Foodies series. These figures are typically sold in large quantities through major retailers and online marketplaces, making them relatively easy to find and affordable for most collectors.
The Mike And Ike Pop! Foodies (SKU 198) is a standard retail Funko item that typically sells for its original retail price of $12.99 when new in box. Because it is a common mass-produced figure from a popular line, it does not carry a significant premium in the secondary market, and used copies generally trade for less than the retail price.
To authenticate your Mike and Ike Pop! Foodies figure, first verify that the box is sealed with a tamper-evident sticker and that the figure inside is a solid vinyl with a matte finish, as counterfeit items often have a glossy sheen or visible seams. Check the base of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging displays the correct 2023 release date and SKU 198. If the figure feels lightweight, has a strong chemical smell, or lacks the standard Funko branding on the box, it is likely a replica.
The Mike And Ike Pop! Foodies was released in 2023 by Funko.
The Mike And Ike Pop! Foodies (SKU 198) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2023 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is only available through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Mike and Ike Pop! Foodies figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl surface for common manufacturing defects such as seam lines, mold marks, or paint overspray. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated within its base and that the packaging, if present, is free from significant damage, as the box often contributes to the item's overall value. Unlike trading cards, these vinyl collectibles are not typically graded by major third-party services like PSA or Beckett, so their value is generally determined by visual inspection of the figure's quality and the condition of its original packaging.
