Common questions about the Mikey Pop! Movies from Funko (2014).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Mikey Pop! Movies figure (SKU 77) is not considered rare. It was part of Funko's standard 2014 movie release line and was widely distributed in retail stores. As a common production item from that era, it remains readily available on the secondary market, and its value is generally low compared to limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of the Mikey Pop! Movies figure (SKU 77) varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is sealed in the box, and current market demand. As a standard 2014 release, it is generally considered a common item, so its value is typically modest for loose figures and slightly higher for sealed boxes. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, you should check recent sold listings on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces.
To authenticate a 2014 Mikey Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the specific SKU number 77 on the bottom or side. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the absence of rough seams or flash marks that indicate counterfeit production. You can also cross-reference the figure's dimensions and weight against known specifications for the 2014 release, as unauthorized replicas often differ slightly in size or feel. If the packaging lacks the standard Funko branding or the vinyl quality appears poor, it is likely not an authentic item.
The Mikey Pop! Movies was released in 2014 by Funko.
The Mikey Pop! Movies figure (SKU 77) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2014 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any available stock is likely second-hand or from remaining retail inventory.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold seams, while also verifying that the head articulation is intact and the box is free from significant damage. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a third-party certification service such as PSA, which will evaluate the item on a 10-point scale and encapsulate it in a tamper-evident slab. Be aware that grading fees can be high relative to the value of a standard 2014 release, so it is often more practical to simply document the condition with clear photographs for resale purposes.
