Ming Chen Pop! Television figures are not generally considered rare, as they were part of a standard mass-production run released in 2017. While specific variants like Chase figures or exclusive colorways may be harder to find, the standard edition is widely available on the secondary market.
The value of a Ming Chen Pop! Television figure (SKU 556) depends heavily on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard 2017 release, the retail price for this item has typically dropped below its original $12.99 MSRP, with used copies often trading for between $5 and $10. Sealed, unopened figures in mint condition may command a slightly higher price, potentially ranging from $10 to $15, depending on current market demand.
The Ming Chen Pop! Television figure (SKU 556) is a standard mass-produced item from 2017, so there is no specific "real" version to distinguish from a counterfeit in the way one would with rare collectibles. To authenticate your figure, verify that the SKU 556 is printed on the box and that the figure matches the official Funko product images for the Ming Chen character. You can also check for standard manufacturing quality, such as the correct Funko logo on the box and the typical vinyl texture of the figure.
The Ming Chen Pop! Television was released in 2017 by Funko.
The Ming Chen Pop! Television (SKU 556) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2017 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new copies found on the market are likely from remaining third-party inventory or are used.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you should evaluate the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or mold lines. Check that the head is properly seated and that the figure stands securely on its base without wobbling. If the item is in its original box, verify that the window is uncut and the packaging is free of significant wear, as this significantly impacts its value for collectors.
