Ming the Merciless is not considered a rare Funko Pop. It was a standard release in the 2016 *Planet of the Apes* movie series and was widely available in retail stores. Because it was a common production run item, it is generally easy to find in both new and used condition.
The value of the 2016 Ming The Merciless Funko Pop! (SKU 310) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened factory-sealed boxes typically commanding a premium over loose figures. As a standard release from a major franchise, it is generally considered a common item, so its market value is modest and fluctuates with current demand. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay, as static price guides often lag behind real-time market trends.
To authenticate your Ming The Merciless Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the SKU number 310 is printed on the base of the figure and matches the product code on the box. Inspect the vinyl for consistent color saturation, sharp paint lines, and the absence of excess flashing or rough seams, which are common indicators of counterfeit items. Additionally, check that the packaging features the official Funko logo and that the window is clean and properly sealed, as poor print quality or misaligned graphics on the box often signal a fake. If the figure feels lightweight or the vinyl texture is unusually soft compared to standard Funko production, it is likely not genuine.
