Common questions about the Mister Negative Pop! Games from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Mister Negative Pop! Games figure (SKU 398) is not considered rare. It was part of a standard retail release in 2018 and was widely available through major toy and comic book retailers. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusive distribution status that typically define rare Funko items.
There is no reliable market data for a "Mister Negative Pop! Games" item with SKU 398, as Funko's 2018 production typically assigned this SKU to the standard Marvel Series 1 vinyl figure of Mister Negative. While standard retail prices for this figure generally range from $5 to $15, specific "Games" variants are not a recognized standard release for this character and year, so I cannot provide a valuation without further verification of the item's actual packaging and contents.
To authenticate your Mister Negative Pop! Games figure (SKU 398), verify that the box features the official Funko branding and that the figure itself has the characteristic vinyl sheen and consistent paint application typical of the 2018 production run. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright stamp, which should read "© & ™ DC Comics" along with the year of manufacture. If the packaging is missing, the figure's weight, joint articulation, and the specific color accuracy of the purple and black costume are the primary indicators of authenticity.
The Mister Negative Pop! Games was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Mister Negative Pop! Games figure (SKU 398) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2018 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new copies found on the market are likely from remaining old stock or are resold used inventory.
To condition-check a Mister Negative Pop! Games figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the character's white hair and mask details where imperfections are most visible. Verify that the figure is properly seated on its base without gaps or wobble, and check the box for any crushing, creasing, or damage to the window. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must be in its original sealed packaging, as grading services like PSA typically do not accept loose, unboxed Pop! figures.
