The MPN "MMS116" and the April 2010 release date are inconsistent with Hot Toys' standard product coding and catalog history, as the company did not use the "MMS" prefix for its 1/6th scale figures during that period. Consequently, there is no reliable evidence that Hot Toys manufactured a product with this specific identifier, suggesting the item may be a counterfeit, a mislabeled third-party product, or a data entry error. To authenticate the figure, you should compare the packaging, logo fonts, and articulation points against verified images of genuine Hot Toys releases from 2010, such as the MMS016 Iron Man, and check for the official Hot Toys holographic sticker and quality of paint application.

The MMS 116 Tony Stark (Mech Test Version) is a vintage Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure, and its value is primarily determined by the completeness of the original packaging and accessories. To condition-check this item, you should inspect the plastic for yellowing, verify that the mechanical test rig and all interchangeable hands are present, and ensure the original box is free of significant damage or missing inserts. Because this figure predates modern grading standards, it is generally evaluated based on visual inspection of the figure's articulation points and the integrity of the included display stand rather than third-party slabbed grading.
