The Hot Toys MMS 175 Thor is not considered rare, as it was a standard production 1/6th scale figure released in May 2012. Being a mass-produced item from a major manufacturer, it remains widely available on the secondary market and does not carry the scarcity value associated with limited-edition or prototype collectibles.
The MMS 175 Thor originally retailed for $199.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
The provided data contains a placeholder UPC (490000000000) and a release date of May 17, 2012, which does not align with the typical production timeline for Hot Toys Marvel Movie Series figures, as that line generally began in 2013. Because the SKU 901864 and MPN MMS175 do not correspond to a verifiable, standard Hot Toys product catalog entry with these specific attributes, I cannot confirm the authenticity of this item based on the provided identifiers. To authenticate the figure, you should examine the packaging for a legitimate Hot Toys logo, check the figure's paint quality and articulation against known genuine examples, and verify the UPC against a database of valid Hot Toys products.
The MMS 175 Thor was released in 17-May-12 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys MMS 175 Thor figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. It was released in May 2012 and has since been discontinued, meaning it is only available through the secondary market from third-party sellers or collectors.
There is no reliable information available to confirm that Hot Toys produced a "MMS 175 Thor" figure, as the MMS prefix typically designates the Movie Master Series line which focuses on vehicles and props rather than character figures. Consequently, standard grading criteria for this specific item do not exist, and you should verify the manufacturer and product name against official Hot Toys catalogs before attempting to assess its condition.
