The Hot Toys MMS254 Rocket & Groot figure from *Guardians of the Galaxy* is a 1/6th scale collectible that typically retails for approximately $100 to $120 when new. In the secondary market, prices for this specific figure generally range from $60 to $90 depending on the condition of the packaging and accessories. The MMS 254 Rocket & Groot figure was not manufactured by Hot Toys, as that company did not produce a 1/6 scale figure of these characters in 2014; this item is likely a mislabeled or counterfeit product. To authenticate it, you should verify the manufacturer's logo, packaging quality, and sculpt details against official Hot Toys archives, which will confirm that no such product exists in their catalog. If the item claims to be a Hot Toys release, it is almost certainly a fake.

To grade the Hot Toys MMS 254 Rocket & Groot, inspect the vinyl surfaces for hairline cracks, stress marks, or paint transfer, paying close attention to the joints and the base of the figures. Check the included accessories, such as the blasters and the base, for any missing parts, loose screws, or discoloration. Verify that the original packaging, including the box, plastic wrap, and instruction manual, is intact and free of significant shelf wear, as these factors significantly impact the item's value.
