To condition-check the Hot Toys MMS 283 Obi-Wan Kenobi, inspect the figure for paint transfer, hairline cracks in the plastic, and wear on the fabric costume, as these are common defects for 2015-era 1/6th scale products. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must be in its original sealed packaging with the box in mint condition, as major grading services like CGC typically do not grade loose figures. For loose figures, value is determined by the specific condition of the parts and accessories, so documenting any flaws with clear photographs is essential for accurate assessment.
