I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. The provided SKU, MPN, and UPC do not correspond to a known Hot Toys product, as the manufacturer typically uses distinct alphanumeric codes and standard retail barcodes rather than the placeholder UPC listed. To authenticate the figure, you should inspect the packaging for official Hot Toys branding, check the quality of the sculpting and paint, and compare the item against verified images from the manufacturer’s official catalog.
The MMS 291 Spacetrooper was released in 2015 by Hot Toys.
The MMS 291 Spacetrooper is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. As a 2015 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock would be limited to remaining inventory at third-party retailers, which is unlikely. Collectors seeking this figure should look for used or pre-owned copies on the secondary market.
The MMS 291 Spacetrooper is a 1/6 scale collectible figure, so grading typically involves assessing the condition of the sculpt, paint application, and articulation points rather than using standard trading card grading scales. You should inspect the figure for signs of wear such as paint transfer, chipped plastic, or loose joints, and verify that all included accessories and packaging are present and undamaged. For a formal valuation, you can submit the item to a third-party authentication service that handles 1/6 scale figures, though many collectors simply grade these items on a scale from Mint to Poor based on visible defects.
