You can authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 316 by checking the packaging for the correct MPN, MMS316, and verifying the copyright date of 2015 on the box and figure base. Examine the sculpting quality, paint application, and joint articulation for consistency with Hot Toys' 1/6th scale standards, as counterfeits often feature poor paint coverage and rough plastic seams. If the item is in its original box, look for the official Hot Toys logo and product description, noting that the specific release date of September 2015 aligns with the Star Wars: The Force Awakens era.
