The MMS 328 Captain Phasma is a legitimate 1/6th scale collectible figure manufactured by Hot Toys, released in 2015 as part of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens line. To authenticate your item, verify that the packaging displays the Hot Toys logo, the MMS328 model number, and the correct UPC code, while the figure itself should feature high-quality sculpting, accurate paint applications, and the standard Hot Toys articulation points. If the packaging appears counterfeit or the figure lacks these specific manufacturing details, it is likely a replica.

Condition-checking a Hot Toys MMS 328 Captain Phasma involves inspecting the 1/6th scale figure for common defects such as paint transfer on the armor, scratches on the clear visor, and stress fractures in the plastic joints. You should also verify that the included accessories, such as the blaster and holo-caster, are intact and that the sculpted details on the helmet and suit remain crisp without molding lines. While third-party grading services like CGC can provide a standardized score, most collectors assess value based on the presence of original packaging, the completeness of the display stand, and the absence of significant cosmetic damage to the figure itself.
