The MMS 356 Armored Batman (Black Chrome) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release by Hot Toys in 2016. Because it was widely distributed through major retail channels and has been available for several years, it is generally easy to find in new or used condition.
I cannot find reliable information on the current market value for the Hot Toys MMS 356 Armored Batman (Black Chrome). Prices for this specific variant fluctuate based on condition, packaging integrity, and regional availability, so I recommend checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces for an accurate appraisal.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 356 Armored Batman, you should inspect the packaging for high-quality printing and the correct MPN, check the figure for consistent paint application and sharp molding, and verify the presence of the official Hot Toys logo and copyright markings on the base and accessories. If you purchased the item from a third-party seller, cross-referencing the serial number with Hot Toys' official records or consulting a certified authentication service is the most reliable method.
The MMS 356 Armored Batman (Black Chrome) was released in 2-Mar-16 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys MMS 356 Armored Batman (Black Chrome) is a discontinued product and is no longer in print. Consequently, it is not available to buy new from the manufacturer or authorized retailers, and current availability is limited to the secondary market.
It is important to clarify that MMS 356 is a Mattel Masters Series figure, not a Hot Toys product, and the "Black Chrome" finish is a standard production variant rather than a custom paint job. To condition-check this item, inspect the black chrome plating on the armor and cowl for micro-scratches, scuffs, or peeling, which are common wear points on this specific finish. You should also verify that the articulation points are tight and that the included accessories, such as the Batarang and display stand, are present and undamaged.
