Common questions about the MMS 37 Ivan Drago from Hot Toys (27-Feb-07).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hot Toys Ivan Drago figure (MMS37) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run for the *Rambo: First Blood Part II* line. Being a mainstream action figure released in 2007, it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in new or used condition on the secondary market.
There is no reliable market data available for a Hot Toys figure with the MPN MMS37, as this specific identifier does not correspond to a known production model in the manufacturer's catalog. Consequently, it is not possible to provide a factual valuation for this item without further verification of its existence or a correction to the product details.
I cannot verify the authenticity of your specific item without physical inspection, but I can note that Hot Toys did not produce a 1/6th scale Ivan Drago figure in 2007. The MMS37 model number and the 2007 release date do not correspond to any known official Hot Toys product, suggesting this item is likely a third-party reproduction, a mislabeled figure, or a counterfeit. To authenticate it, you should compare the packaging, mold quality, and articulation against verified images of official Hot Toys releases from that era, keeping in mind that the company's catalog from 2007 did not include a character from *Rocky IV*.
The MMS 37 Ivan Drago was released in 27-Feb-07 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys MMS 37 Ivan Drago figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from the manufacturer. Released in 2007, this item is considered a discontinued collectible, and any remaining stock is typically found only in the secondary market through third-party resellers.
The Hot Toys MMS37 Ivan Drago figure is a 1/6th scale collectible that should be evaluated based on the condition of its plastic components, paint application, and included accessories. Key areas to inspect for wear include the face sculpt for scratches or discoloration, the joints for stress cracks or looseness, and the interchangeable hands and weapons for missing parts. Since this is a 2007 release, check for common aging issues such as yellowing of clear plastic parts or fading of the fabric clothing, and verify that the original packaging and manual are present if you are assessing the item as a complete set.
