The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hot Toys MMS 38 Alien Warrior is not considered rare, as it was a standard production figure released in 2007 with a wide initial distribution. While original sealed boxes are less common today due to age and consumption, the figure itself was manufactured in large quantities and remains relatively accessible in the secondary market.
The MMS 38 Alien Warrior is a vintage Hot Toys figure from 2007, and its current market value typically ranges between $30 and $60 depending on the condition of the figure and the completeness of its packaging. As a discontinued item from the early 2000s, it does not command the high premiums seen with rare or limited-edition releases, so prices are generally stable and accessible for casual collectors.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it, and I cannot confirm the existence of a Hot Toys product with the specific MPN "MMS38" released in 2007, as Hot Toys typically uses a different numbering system (such as 15-001) for their 1/6th scale figures. To authenticate your item, you should compare the packaging, mold details, and articulation against verified images of the specific Hot Toys release you believe it to be, or consult a professional authentication service.

The Hot Toys MMS 38 Alien Warrior is no longer in production and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. As a figure released in 2007, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock would have to be sourced from secondary markets or remaining retail inventory, which is unlikely to exist.
To grade the Hot Toys MMS 38 Alien Warrior, inspect the figure for common wear points such as paint transfer on the armor, stress fractures on the joints, and discoloration of the clear plastic parts. Check the articulation for any looseness or grinding and verify that the included accessories and display stand are intact and free from damage. For a formal market valuation, you would need to submit the item to a professional grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical condition factors.
