There is no reliable evidence that Hot Toys produced a 1:6 scale figure with the MPN MMS389 for a "Shoretrooper" in 2016, as this specific model number and character combination do not correspond to known official releases from that manufacturer. The "MMS" prefix is typically associated with other product lines or is likely a misreading of the actual SKU, which for Hot Toys 1:6 figures usually begins with a different alphanumeric sequence. To authenticate your item, you should verify the exact model number on the packaging and box against official Hot Toys release lists, as the item may be a third-party reproduction, a mislabeled product, or a figure from a different brand entirely.
The MMS 389 Shoretrooper was released in 2016 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys MMS 389 Shoretrooper is no longer in production and is not available to purchase new from the manufacturer. As a 2016 release, this item is considered out of print, meaning new stock is no longer being manufactured or distributed through official retail channels.
Grading a Hot Toys MMS 389 Shoretrooper involves inspecting the figure for common manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, and molding imperfections, as well as checking for any post-production damage like scratches, chipped plastic, or loose joints. Because Hot Toys figures are generally not submitted to professional third-party grading services like PSA for a numerical score, condition is typically assessed by collectors using descriptive terms such as "Mint," "Near Mint," or "Good" based on the presence of these flaws. You should also verify that the included accessories and display stand are intact and that the original packaging is free from significant box wear if you are evaluating the set as a complete unit.
