Common questions about the MMS 456 Batman Deluxe from Hot Toys (8-Dec-17).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The MMS 456 Batman Deluxe is not considered rare, as it was a mass-produced 1/6 scale figure released by Hot Toys in December 2017. Being a standard retail release rather than a limited edition, it is widely available on the secondary market.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the existence of a Hot Toys product with the specific designation "MMS 456" for a Batman Deluxe figure released in December 2017. While Hot Toys produced several Batman figures around that time, such as the 1/6 scale Batman (MMS456 is not a standard recognized SKU for their mainline Batman releases), I cannot provide a valuation without verifying the exact model number and its market history.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without inspecting it in person. To authenticate a Hot Toys figure, you should check the packaging for the official Hot Toys logo, verify the product code on the box matches the manufacturer's records, and inspect the figure for high-quality paint, sculpting, and articulation consistent with the brand's standards. If you purchased the item from a third-party seller, requesting original receipts or contacting Hot Toys customer support with photos of the figure and packaging is the most reliable way to confirm its legitimacy.
The MMS 456 Batman Deluxe was released in 8-Dec-17 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys MMS 456 Batman Deluxe is no longer in production and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. This 1/6th scale figure was released in late 2017 and has since been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically significantly higher than the original retail value.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that Hot Toys manufactures a product with the specific designation "MMS 456 Batman Deluxe." Because this item does not appear in standard Hot Toys catalog records, I cannot provide specific grading criteria for it. If you have a verified Hot Toys Batman figure, general condition checks involve inspecting the paint for scratches, examining the sculpt for stress cracks, and verifying that all accessories and display stands are present and undamaged.
