For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a professional grading service like Beckett or PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on standardized criteria. If you are checking condition yourself, inspect for paint chips, loose joints, or missing parts, and verify that the box is free of major damage if you are selling it as a sealed or near-mint item.
