I cannot find reliable information confirming the existence of a Hot Toys product with the specific designation "MMS 491 Hans Solo," as the MMS prefix is not standard for Hot Toys and "Hans Solo" is not a recognized character in their catalog. It is highly likely that the item is a mislabeled third-party reproduction or a counterfeit, so you should verify the packaging, articulation, and paint quality against official Hot Toys release guides before assuming authenticity.
The MMS 491 Hans Solo was released in 2018 by Hot Toys.
Hot Toys discontinued the MMS 491 Han Solo figure in 2018, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms or collector-to-collector sales.
It is important to clarify that the MMS 491 figure is Han Solo, not Hans Solo, and it is a 1/6 scale collectible manufactured by Hot Toys. To condition-check this item, inspect the head sculpt for paint transfer or scuffs, examine the fabric costume for pilling, stains, or loose stitching, and verify that all included accessories and display stands are present and undamaged. For a formal grade, you should submit the figure to a third-party grading service like Beckett Grading Services (BGS) or Action Figure Grading (AFG), which will assign a numerical score based on specific criteria such as paint, plastic, and fabric condition.
