The Hot Toys MMS 497 Ant-Man 1/6 scale figure typically retails for approximately $100 to $150 USD. As a mass-produced collectible, its value is generally stable and does not appreciate significantly over time, so the current market value is roughly equivalent to its original retail price.
To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 497 Ant-Man, first verify that the packaging includes the official Hot Toys logo, the MMS497 model number, and a unique serial number on the box and the figure's base. Inspect the sculpt for crisp edges, consistent paint application, and the correct Marvel branding on the chest emblem. Cross-reference the serial number against Hot Toys' official registry or authorized retailer records to confirm it matches a legitimate production run. If the figure lacks a serial number or shows signs of wear inconsistent with its age, consult a certified appraiser or the manufacturer's customer service for a formal authentication.

To condition-check a Hot Toys MMS 497 Ant-Man, inspect the vinyl or die-cast body for hairline cracks, paint chips, or scuffs, paying close attention to the head sculpt and articulated joints.
