The Hot Toys MMS 545 Stan Lee 1/6 scale figure is generally considered out of print, as it was released in July 2019 and is no longer listed on Hot Toys' official current catalog. While new stock may occasionally appear through third-party retailers or auction sites, finding a factory-sealed unit at retail price is increasingly rare. Collectors typically need to check secondary markets for both new and used examples, with prices often exceeding the original retail value due to its limited production run.
To grade the MMS 545 Stan Lee, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint scratches, chipped plastic, or loose joints, which are typical wear points for Hot Toys 1/6 scale figures. Check the packaging for creases, tears, or faded printing, as the box condition significantly impacts resale value. If the figure is unopened, verify the seal is intact and the box is square and undamaged; if opened, examine the articulation and surface finish under good lighting to identify any manufacturing flaws.
