The Hot Toys MMS 55 Predalien is a discontinued 2008 figure, and its current market value fluctuates based on condition and packaging integrity. As a vintage item from the Alien franchise, it typically commands a premium over modern releases, with prices often ranging from $100 to over $200 for complete, unopened sets. I cannot provide a real-time appraisal, so checking recent completed sales on secondary markets like eBay is the most reliable way to determine its exact worth today.
The Hot Toys MMS 55 Predalien is a legitimate 1/6th scale figure released in December 2008 as part of the Alien vs. Predator series. To authenticate your figure, verify that the packaging includes the correct Hot Toys logo, the MMS55 product code, and a holographic security sticker, while the figure itself should feature high-quality sculpting, consistent paint application, and a serial number on the base or packaging. If the packaging appears counterfeit, the plastic quality is poor, or the articulation feels loose and unpolished, it is likely a reproduction, and you should compare specific details against verified images from reputable collector forums or auction records.

The MMS 55 Predalien is a 1/6th scale action figure, which is generally not accepted for professional grading by major services like PSA or CGC that typically focus on trading cards, comics, and specific high-end collectibles. To condition-check the figure, you should inspect the head sculpt for hairline cracks, verify that the paint on the exoskeleton is intact without chipping, and ensure the articulation points are not loose or damaged. Additionally, check that the included accessories, such as the bladed spear and alternate hands, are present and free from significant wear or missing parts.
