To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 571 Boba Fett, you should compare the packaging, box art, and figure details against official images from the Hot Toys website or authorized retailers. The MMS 571 Boba Fett (Vintage Color 40th Anniversary) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Hot Toys. As a limited-edition item released in May 2020 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the character, it has been discontinued. Collectors seeking a new unit would need to look for unopened stock from third-party resellers, which is typically scarce and often priced significantly above the original retail value.
It is important to clarify that MMS 571 is a Hot Wheels collectible, not a Hot Toys product, as Hot Toys manufactures high-end 1/6th scale figures while MMS denotes a specific Hot Wheels casting. To condition-check this item, inspect the die-cast body for paint chips, scratches, or fading, and verify that the clear bubble packaging is intact without tears, dents, or discoloration. If the card is present, check for creases, corner wear, and the condition of the card's backing, as these factors significantly impact the value of the 40th Anniversary edition.
