Common questions about the MMS 60 Jiang Wu-Yang (Special Version) from Hot Toys (20-Dec-08).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The MMS 60 Jiang Wu-Yang (Special Version) is considered rare because it was a limited-production special edition released by Hot Toys in 2008. As a 1/6 scale figure from the mid-2000s, surviving examples in complete condition with original packaging are scarce on the secondary market.
I cannot find reliable information to determine the current market value of the Hot Toys MMS 60 Jiang Wu-Yang (Special Version). As a niche collectible from 2008, its price is highly variable and depends on condition, packaging, and regional demand, so I recommend checking recent completed sales on secondary markets like eBay for an accurate estimate.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. For Hot Toys MMS60 figures, authentication generally involves checking for consistent paint quality, precise sculpting details, and the presence of the correct Hot Toys logo and copyright markings on the base and packaging. If you are concerned about a specific unit, I recommend consulting a certified Hot Toys authentication service or comparing the item against verified images from the manufacturer's official archives.

The Hot Toys MMS 60 Jiang Wu-Yang (Special Version) is a discontinued 2008 release and is no longer in print. It is not available to purchase new from the manufacturer and is currently only accessible through the secondary market, where prices are typically significantly higher than the original retail value.
To grade the Hot Toys MMS 60 Jiang Wu-Yang, inspect the figure for paint transfer, scuffs, or cracks on the head sculpt and body, and verify that all included accessories, such as weapons and stand parts, are present and undamaged. Check the articulation for looseness or play and ensure the packaging, if original, is free from significant shelf wear or box crushing. Since this is a 2008 release, look specifically for yellowing of plastic parts and fading of fabric accessories, which are common age-related defects.
