To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 648 Clone Pilot, first verify the packaging for the official Hot Toys logo, the MMS648 model number, and the "1/6 Scale" designation. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct articulation points, as clones often have softer plastics or misaligned joints. Check the base of the figure for the Hot Toys logo and model number stamping, and confirm that the included accessories match the official product listing. If the item lacks these specific manufacturing markers or feels lighter than expected, it may be a replica.

Verify that the included accessories, such as the blaster and stand, are present and undamaged, and check the packaging for any dents or tears if you are evaluating it for resale. For a formal grade, send the figure to a third-party grading service like Beckett or PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized rubric covering paint, sculpt integrity, and accessory completeness.
