Hot Toys does not manufacture a product designated as MMS 653, as their standard product codes typically begin with the letter M followed by a three-digit number (e.g., M653). The "MMS" prefix is not a recognized format for Hot Toys releases, suggesting the item may be a counterfeit, a mislabeled third-party product, or a confusion with a different manufacturer's catalog number. To authenticate the item, compare the packaging, box art, and figure details against official Hot Toys press images and verify the product code on the box against the manufacturer's official catalog.

As a limited-production collectible, it is typically only found on the secondary market through third-party resellers, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Hot Toys MMS 653 Scarlet Witch Deluxe involves inspecting the head sculpt for paint transfer, verifying that the interchangeable face parts fit securely without gaps, and checking the fabric costume for snags or discoloration. You should also examine the articulated joints for looseness and ensure the included accessories, such as the staff and base, are free from cracks or missing pieces. For formal grading, the figure must be submitted to a third-party service like CGC or Beckett, which will evaluate it against specific criteria for paint, articulation, and accessory completeness before assigning a numerical score.
