To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 679 Spider-Man, first verify that the packaging matches the official 2023 release, checking for the correct SKU 9120362 and UPC 4900000000000 on the box. Inspect the figure itself for high-quality paint application, accurate sculpting of the new red and blue suit, and the presence of the correct MPN MMS680 on the base or packaging. If the physical item aligns with these specific identifiers and the Hot Toys branding, it is likely genuine; however, if you cannot locate reliable reference images or documentation for this specific SKU, state that verification is uncertain rather than assuming authenticity.

The MMS 679 Spider-Man (New Red and Blue Suit) is a 1/6 scale collectible figure released by Hot Toys in 2023. Grading a 1/6 scale figure like the MMS 679 Spider-Man involves inspecting the sculpt for molding defects, checking paint application for smudges or gaps, and verifying that all accessories and heads are present and undamaged. You should also examine the joints for play-wear or looseness and ensure the packaging is intact if you are evaluating it as a sealed item. While professional grading services like Beckett or CGC can assign a numerical score, most collectors perform a visual condition check by comparing the figure against a known-good reference or the manufacturer's product images.
