Grading a Hot Toys 1/6 scale figure like the MMS 695 Kang involves a detailed inspection of the sculpt, paint application, and articulation points for signs of wear, such as paint transfer, scuffing, or loose joints. You should also examine the included accessories and display stand for any cracks, missing parts, or discoloration, as these significantly impact the overall condition. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service like Beckett Grading Services (BGS) or Action Figure Grading (AFG), which will assign a numerical score based on their specific rubrics for articulation, paint, and accessories.
