The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Hot Toys MMS 77 Dog Alien is considered a rare item in the collectibles market. While it is a specific 2009 release, there is no widely documented scarcity or limited production run associated with this particular figure that would classify it as rare compared to standard Hot Toys releases from that era.
I cannot find reliable information to determine the current market value of the Hot Toys MMS 77 Dog Alien. As a niche collectible, its price fluctuates based on condition and rarity, so I recommend checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay for an accurate estimate.
I cannot find reliable information to confirm the authenticity of a "MMS 77 Dog Alien" manufactured by Hot Toys, as this specific model number and description do not correspond to any known product in the manufacturer's catalog. Hot Toys is primarily known for high-end 1:6 scale movie and TV replicas, and the item described appears to be a misidentified or non-existent product. I recommend verifying the item's origin through official Hot Toys channels or a certified authentication service, as I cannot provide a definitive verification for this specific item.

The Hot Toys MMS 77 Dog Alien is a discontinued product and is no longer in print. It is not available to buy new from the manufacturer or authorized retailers. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market, such as online auction sites or specialty toy resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
I cannot find reliable information regarding a Hot Toys product with the MPN MMS77 or a "Dog Alien" figure released in January 2009. Because this specific item does not appear to exist in standard manufacturer catalogs or collectible databases, I cannot provide accurate grading criteria for it.
