To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 805 Palpatine, first verify the physical packaging for the correct SKU (MMS805) and UPC (4900000000000) printed on the box. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the presence of the manufacturer's logo and model number on the base or packaging. Since this is a 2026 release, check for the inclusion of all advertised accessories and compare the figure's articulation and finish against official Hot Toys product images. If the item lacks these specific identifiers or shows signs of wear inconsistent with a new release, it may be a replica or used item.

It is typically available for pre-order or will enter production closer to its scheduled release window.
To grade the Hot Toys MMS 805 Palpatine, inspect the figure for common defects such as paint transfer, chipped plastic, or loose joints, which are typical wear points for 1/6 scale action figures. Check the packaging for shelf wear, box crushing, or missing inserts, as these factors significantly impact collectible value. If the figure is in its original box, verify that all accessories and the instruction manual are present, since a complete set is required for a high grade.
