The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The MMS 84 Abe Sapien figure is not considered rare in the collectibles market. It was a standard production item from the Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series released in 2009, and it was widely available through major retailers at the time. Consequently, it is generally easy to find in both new and used condition, and its value typically remains modest compared to limited edition or out-of-print variants.
I cannot provide a reliable current market value for the Hot Toys MMS 84 Abe Sapien figure, as collectible prices fluctuate based on condition, packaging, and local market demand. For an accurate valuation, I recommend checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or consulting specialized action figure price guides.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. To authenticate your Hot Toys MMS 84 Abe Sapien, you should inspect the packaging for the official Hot Toys logo, check for the correct MPN MMS84 on the box, and compare the figure's sculpting, paint application, and articulation against verified images from the manufacturer's official release materials. If the item lacks these standard production markers or appears to be a third-party reproduction, it is likely not a genuine Hot Toys product.

The Hot Toys MMS 84 Abe Sapien figure is no longer in production and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. Released in January 2009, this item is considered a discontinued collectible, meaning it can only be found through the secondary market such as online auction sites or used toy retailers.
I cannot find reliable information on a Hot Toys product with MPN MMS84 featuring Abe Sapien, as this character is from the Hellboy franchise and is not typically associated with Hot Toys' standard production lines. Consequently, I cannot provide specific grading criteria for this item without risking speculation. I recommend verifying the manufacturer and model number against official Hot Toys archives or reputable collectible databases to ensure the item's authenticity before attempting a condition assessment.
