The MMS 849 Dek is not considered rare in the traditional sense, as it is a standard production figure from Hot Toys' Mass Market Series. With a 2026 release date, it is a current or upcoming item rather than a limited-edition collector's piece. Its commonality is reflected in its mass-market positioning, making it widely available through standard retail channels.

The MMS 849 Dek is a 2026 Hot Toys release identified by SKU 915076 and UPC 4895228623706. To authenticate it, verify that the UPC and MPN MMS849 match the packaging and check for the manufacturer's quality hallmarks such as paint application, articulation, and box condition. Since this is a 2026 item, confirm the release date aligns with the current year to rule out early or late production anomalies.

Based on the provided data, the Hot Toys MMS 849 Dek is listed with a 2026 year designation, which suggests it is a future release or a very recent addition to the catalog. Because the item is dated 2026, it is likely not yet in general retail circulation, meaning it is not currently available to buy new unless pre-orders are open. I cannot confirm its current print status beyond the listed year, as no explicit "discontinued" or "in print" flag was provided in the source data.
To grade a Hot Toys MMS 849 Dek, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint scratches, seam lines, or loose joints, and verify that the included accessories and base are intact. Since this is a 2026 release, it is a new item, so grading typically focuses on factory condition rather than age-related wear. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical state.
