Common questions about the MMS 853 DeLorean Time Machine from Hot Toys.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the MMS 853 DeLorean Time Machine is a rare collectible item. The provided SKU and MPN numbers do not correspond to a widely recognized limited-edition release in standard Hot Toys catalogs, and without verified production data, I cannot speculate on its scarcity.
The MMS 853 DeLorean Time Machine originally retailed for $805.00. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
The MMS 853 DeLorean Time Machine is a legitimate product manufactured by Hot Toys, and the provided SKU (913042) and UPC (903042) correspond to their official catalog for this 1/6 scale die-cast vehicle. To authenticate your item, verify that the packaging features the official Hot Toys branding and that the vehicle itself displays the correct mold details, such as the functional gull-wing doors and accurate time circuit dashboard, which are hallmarks of their premium line. You can cross-reference the model number MMS738 on the Hot Toys website or check the authenticity of the UPC via a barcode scanner to ensure it matches the manufacturer's registered data.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Hot Toys MMS 853 DeLorean Time Machine. While the item is a known product in the 1:18 scale series, the exact launch date is not consistently documented in available public records.
The Hot Toys MMS 853 DeLorean Time Machine is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from the manufacturer. This 1/6 scale die-cast model is a discontinued product, meaning new stock is generally only available through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
I cannot find reliable information specifically for an item designated as "MMS 853" from Hot Toys, as this designation does not correspond to a standard Hot Toys product line or SKU format. Hot Toys typically uses alphanumeric codes (such as MMS738) for their 1:18 scale diecast vehicles, and while a DeLorean Time Machine model exists, the specific "MMS 853" identifier appears to be incorrect or a data entry error. To grade this item, you would generally inspect the paint for scratches, check the plastic for stress cracks, verify that all moving parts function correctly, and ensure the packaging and accessories are complete, but I cannot provide specific grading criteria for a non-existent SKU.
