The MMS 862 Spider-Man (Final Swing Suit) is a Movie Promo Edition, which typically indicates a limited production run intended for promotional purposes rather than standard retail distribution. Because the item is listed with a 2026 release year, it is a future or pre-release product, meaning physical units may not yet be widely available for verification. To authenticate a genuine Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series figure, check for the official Hot Toys logo on the base, verify the SKU (MMS862) and UPC (4895228624345) on the packaging, and inspect the paint application and articulation for consistency with the manufacturer's quality standards. If the item is a "Movie Promo Edition," look for specific promotional markings or limited-edition numbering on the box, and compare the figure's sculpt and colorway against official Hot Toys promotional images.

Based on the provided data, the item is listed with a 2026 year, which suggests it is a future release or a very recent addition to the catalog. Because the year is in the future relative to the current date, it is likely not yet in print or available for purchase as a new item. I cannot confirm its current availability status without a live inventory check, so I cannot definitively state whether it is currently in print.
The MMS 862 Spider-Man (Final Swing Suit) Movie Promo Edition is a 2026 Hot Toys release, so it is currently a new or near-new item. To grade or condition-check it, inspect the figure for any factory defects such as paint transfers, loose joints, or misaligned parts, and verify that the packaging is intact if you plan to sell it as a sealed promo item. Since the figure is from 2026, professional third-party grading services like PSA or CGC may not yet have established population reports for this specific SKU, so a visual inspection for wear and tear is the most practical method for assessing its current condition.
