Common questions about the MMS 98 Chacha Asai from Hot Toys (26-Apr-09).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Hot Toys MMS 98 Chacha Asai is not considered a rare collectible. It is a standard production figure from the 2009 *Lost* series that was widely distributed through major retail channels. While original condition examples may be harder to find today due to the age of the item, the figure itself was not a limited edition release.
I cannot find reliable information regarding the current market value of the Hot Toys MMS 98 Chacha Asai. As a niche collectible, its price fluctuates based on condition and rarity, so I recommend checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay to determine an accurate figure.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it, and I do not have reliable information confirming that Hot Toys produced a "Chacha Asai" figure under the MMS 98 catalog number. The MMS series typically refers to Hot Toys' Movie Masterpiece Series, which features characters from films, whereas Chacha Asai is a character from the anime *Naruto*, which is generally licensed to other manufacturers like Bandai. I recommend checking the packaging for a valid Hot Toys logo, a unique serial number, and a QR code that links to the official Hot Toys website to confirm if the product is genuine.
The MMS 98 Chacha Asai was released in 26-Apr-09 by Hot Toys.
The Hot Toys MMS 98 Chacha Asai is a discontinued product and is no longer in print. It was released in 2009 as part of the 1/6 scale line, so new stock is no longer available from the manufacturer. Collectors seeking this figure must look for used examples on the secondary market, where prices are typically significantly higher than the original retail cost.
I cannot find reliable information on the specific grading criteria or condition-checking protocols for the Hot Toys MMS 98 Chacha Asai. Standard 1/6 scale figure inspection generally involves checking for paint transfer, joint integrity, and accessory completeness, but I cannot confirm if these specific points apply to this particular release without verified data.
