Common questions about the Moonwalker Pop! Games from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Moonwalker Pop! Games figure (SKU 434) is not considered rare. It was part of a standard mass-production run released by Funko in 2018 and is widely available on the secondary market. While specific variants like Chase figures would be rare, the standard edition is a common collectible.
The value of a 2018 Funko Pop! Games Moonwalker (SKU 434) fluctuates based on condition, packaging, and current market demand, but it generally trades for between $10 and $25 in retail stores. On the secondary market, sealed figures typically sell for around $15 to $30, while open figures often fetch less. Prices can spike if the item is part of a specific set or if the character gains renewed popularity, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay is the best way to determine its exact current worth.
To authenticate your Moonwalker Pop! Games figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct SKU number 434 on the packaging. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing, uneven seams, or off-color finishes. If the item appears suspicious, compare it against high-resolution images of verified authentic examples from reputable collector communities or Funko's official product listings.
The Moonwalker Pop! Games was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Moonwalker Pop! Games figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2018 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new copies found today are likely from remaining retail stock or are used.
To grade a Moonwalker Pop! Games figure, you should submit it to a third-party grading service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will evaluate the item on a 1-10 scale based on factors like paint, plastic, and packaging integrity. For a self-condition check, inspect the figure under bright light for scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verify that the box is free of significant damage, fading, or missing inserts. Note that the specific SKU 434 is not a standard identifier for a 2018 Michael Jackson Moonwalker Pop! figure, so you should verify the exact product details before submitting it for grading.
