Common questions about the Morpheus Pop! Movies from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Morpheus Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1174) is a standard edition vinyl figure released by Funko in 2022. It is not considered rare, as it was produced in a standard production run and remains widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The 2022 Morpheus Funko Pop! Movies (SKU 1174) is a standard retail release, so its value is primarily determined by condition and whether it is in the box. In mint, in-box condition, it typically trades in the $15–$25 range, while loose figures generally sell for $8–$15. Prices can fluctuate based on market demand for *The Matrix* collectibles, but without a specific market snapshot, this figure is considered a mid-range item rather than a rare collectible.
To authenticate your 2022 Morpheus Pop! (SKU 1174), first inspect the box for the official Funko logo and the "Pop! Movies" series branding, as counterfeit boxes often have blurry printing or incorrect fonts. Check the vinyl figure itself for a smooth, glossy finish and a secure, tight-fitting lid; genuine Funko figures typically have a distinct "Pop!" logo embossed on the bottom of the base. Verify that the figure matches the official 2022 release specifications, including the specific color scheme and facial features of Morpheus. If the vinyl feels rough, the paint is chipped, or the box lacks a barcode or SKU 1174, it is likely a replica.

The Morpheus Pop! Movies (SKU 1174) is generally considered out of print, as Funko typically discontinues movie figures after a limited production run. While it is no longer sold new directly from Funko, you can still find new, unopened units through third-party retailers or the secondary market, though availability and pricing will vary.
To grade a Morpheus Pop! Movies figure, you should inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, and verify that the box is free of significant wear or damage. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's condition. If you are checking it yourself, hold the figure up to a bright light to reveal any hairline cracks or paint imperfections that might be missed in normal lighting.
