The Morpheus Pop! Movies figure (SKU 159) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released in 2015 and was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own distribution channels. While older figures can sometimes command higher prices due to age, this specific item was produced in large quantities and remains relatively common in the secondary market.
The retail value of the Morpheus Pop! Movies figure (SKU 159) is typically around $12.00 to $15.00 for a new, sealed box. As a common release from 2015, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, with used copies often selling for less than the original retail price.
To authenticate your 2015 Morpheus Pop! (SKU 159), first verify that the figure is stamped with the correct year and SKU number on the bottom of the base. Examine the paint application for consistency, as genuine Funko figures typically have clean lines without significant bleeding or misalignment, and check that the plastic is smooth without rough mold lines. You can also compare the specific proportions and accessory details against high-resolution images of verified authentic examples from reputable collector communities or the official Funko website. If the figure lacks the proper base stamping or exhibits poor manufacturing quality, it is likely a counterfeit.
