Common questions about the Mothman Pop! Myths from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mothman Pop! Myths figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released by Funko in 2020. It was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces during its release window. Consequently, it is generally easy to find in new or used condition, and its value typically remains close to its original retail price.
The value of the Mothman Pop! Myths figure varies significantly based on its condition and whether it remains in its original sealed box. As a standard 2020 release, the unopened retail price typically hovers around $10 to $15, while the loose figure generally sells for less than $5. Prices for this specific SKU are not driven by rarity, so you should expect to pay close to the original retail cost for a mint-condition item.
To authenticate your Mothman Pop! Myths figure, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number 27 on the side or bottom. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the standard Pop! Myths branding on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or poor plastic quality. While there is no single definitive test, comparing the item directly against high-resolution images of the authentic 2020 release is the most reliable method for confirming its legitimacy.
The Mothman Pop! Myths was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Mothman Pop! Myths figure (SKU 27) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As part of the 2020 Myths series, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is limited to any remaining inventory at third-party retailers or the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint errors, seam lines, or damage to the head and wings. Check the box for any signs of wear, and verify that the figure matches the official 2020 release specifications for SKU 27. If you are selling the item, photograph these details clearly to provide potential buyers with an accurate condition report.
