The Mowgli with Ka'a Pop! (SKU 987) is not considered a rare or limited-edition figure. It was part of Funko's standard 2020 Disney release line, meaning it was produced in high volumes and remains widely available through major retailers and secondary markets. Its common status makes it an accessible entry point for collectors building a Disney collection.
The Mowgli with Ka'a Pop! (SKU 987) is a standard retail release from 2020, so its value is primarily determined by condition and whether it is still in its original sealed box. As a common, non-exclusive item, it typically trades for a modest premium over its original retail price, generally ranging from $15 to $30 in good condition.
To authenticate your Mowgli with Ka'a Pop! (SKU 987), first verify that the box is a sealed, unopened retail package with the correct Funko branding and the specific SKU number printed on the side. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportion of Mowgli and Ka'a, and the characteristic glossy vinyl finish typical of 2020-era Disney releases. Check the base for the standard Funko logo and ensure the eyes have the correct shape and color. If the box shows signs of tampering, or if the figure has visible molding seams or paint overspray, it may be a counterfeit or a damaged item.

The Mowgli with Ka'a Pop! (SKU 987) is currently out of print and no longer available to buy new from Funko's official store. It is a 2020 release that has been discontinued, meaning new units are generally only found through third-party retailers or the secondary market.
To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, dents, or paint chips, paying close attention to Mowgli's face and Ka'a's ears and paws, which are high-wear areas. Verify that the eyes are centered and undamaged, and check the base for any cracks or loose parts. For a formal grade, submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized rubric for paint, molding, and overall integrity.
