The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Mr. Hippo Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2018 release wave of the Pop! Games line, which was widely distributed through major retail channels. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it remains relatively common in the secondary market.
The value of the 2018 Mr. Hippo Pop! Games figure (SKU 368) fluctuates based on its condition and whether it is sealed in the original box. As a common item from a popular series, it typically sells for a modest price, often ranging from $5 to $15 for loose figures and slightly higher for mint-in-box examples. For the most accurate current valuation, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To authenticate your Mr. Hippo Pop! Games figure, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and displays the correct SKU number 368 on the barcode label. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the standard Funko Pop! design, such as the large head and small body, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing or poor assembly. While there is no single definitive hologram for this specific 2018 release, comparing the figure directly to high-resolution images of the authentic product from Funko's official archives is the most reliable method for confirming its legitimacy.
The Mr. Hippo Pop! Games was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Mr. Hippo Pop! Games figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2018 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced or sold by the manufacturer. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market for used or opened copies.
To condition-check a Mr. Hippo Pop! Games figure, first inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for any mold lines, scratches, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the eyes and mouth area. Verify that the figure is securely seated on its base and that the base itself is free of cracks or scuffs. If you are seeking a professional grade, submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will encapsulate the item and assign a numerical score based on its overall cosmetic condition.
