No, the Muhammad Ali Pop! Icons figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's widely distributed Icons line, meaning it is generally available for purchase at retail stores and online marketplaces. While specific color variations or limited editions might be harder to find, the standard SKU 80 figure is a common collectible.
The Muhammad Ali Pop! Icons #80 by Funko typically retails for approximately $12.99 USD. As a standard production item released in 2024, its secondary market value generally remains near or slightly below the retail price, depending on current local stock availability.
Funko Pop! Icons figures are generally produced with consistent quality control, so a Muhammad Ali figure with SKU 80 from 2024 is likely authentic if purchased from a reputable retailer. To verify authenticity, check that the figure is in the standard Funko window box with the correct logo, that the paint application is clean without major bleeding, and that the base is solid and properly aligned. Be aware that Funko has not released a specific "Muhammad Ali" Pop! Icons figure in their standard 2024 catalog, so if the item claims to be this specific product, it may be a mislabeled variant, a custom, or a counterfeit, and you should verify the exact SKU and character name against official Funko release lists.
The Muhammad Ali Pop! Icons was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced the discontinuation of the Muhammad Ali Pop! Icons figure, so it is technically considered in print. However, availability fluctuates significantly, and the item is frequently out of stock on major retailers like Amazon and the Funko website. You may need to check secondary markets or local stores to find a new, sealed copy, as production runs for specific Icons can be limited.
You can assess the condition of a Muhammad Ali Pop! Icons figure by inspecting it under bright light for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, particularly on the face, hands, and base. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a professional grading service like PSA, which will evaluate it on a 10-point scale based on factors such as paint quality, molding, and packaging integrity. Note that grading services typically require the figure to be in its original sealed box for a full grade, while open-figure grading is less common and may result in lower values.
