The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Munchlax 10" Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2023 as part of their regular line of 10-inch vinyl figures, meaning it was widely available and not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The Munchlax 10" Pop! Games figure (SKU 917) is a standard retail collectible, and its value is typically tied to its original retail price, which was approximately $24.99. As a common item in the Pop! Games line, it does not generally command a premium in the secondary market, so you should expect to find it for around its retail price or slightly less if purchased from a discount retailer.
To authenticate your Munchlax 10" Pop! Games figure, verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the specific SKU number 917, and the "Games" branding, as this line is distinct from standard Pop! Vinyls. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a solid base, noting that genuine Funko products typically feature a holographic sticker on the box and a consistent, high-quality finish. If the packaging lacks these specific identifiers or the figure feels lightweight and poorly molded, it may be a counterfeit.
