Common questions about the Mushu (Diamond) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mushu (Diamond) Pop! is not considered rare in the traditional sense, as Diamond variants are a standard, recurring colorway released for many characters across the Funko line. While specific production runs may vary, this item is a regular retail release rather than a limited-edition or exclusive variant, meaning it is generally available through standard channels.
There is no fixed market value for the Mushu (Diamond) Pop! Disney, as prices fluctuate based on condition, packaging integrity, and current collector demand. You can find the most accurate and up-to-date pricing by checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay, which reflect what buyers are actually paying for the item.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Mushu (Diamond) #630, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the product number 630 is clearly printed on the packaging. Examine the vinyl figure for the characteristic "diamond" finish, which should have a distinct faceted, crystalline texture rather than a standard glossy or matte surface. Check the base for the correct copyright date and the "Funko" logo, and ensure the sculpting details, particularly the eyes and claws, are sharp and free of significant mold lines. If the packaging is missing or damaged, compare the figure's proportions and paint application against high-resolution images of a verified authentic example from a reputable retailer.
The specific release date for the Mushu (Diamond) Pop! Disney (SKU 630) is not reliably documented in available public records. While Funko regularly releases Diamond Edition figures, exact launch dates for specific SKUs are often not tracked in standard collector databases, making it impossible to provide a verified release date without speculation.
Funko has discontinued the Mushu (Diamond) Pop! Disney, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. This item is now considered out of production, so availability is limited to the secondary market where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for paint defects, scratches, or mold lines, and verifying that the diamond material on the head is securely attached and free of chips. You should also examine the box for any dents, creases, or seal damage, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. While professional grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors assess these items visually based on the presence of flaws and the integrity of the original box.
