Common questions about the My Melody (Lolita) Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The My Melody (Lolita) Pop! Sanrio is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's Sanrio line. It is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, and its value is generally stable and accessible to most collectors.
The My Melody (Lolita) Pop! Sanrio, SKU 74, is a standard production item that typically sells for between $10 and $15 in new, sealed condition. Its value does not significantly exceed its retail price because it is not a limited edition, exclusive, or discontinued variant. Prices may fluctuate slightly based on current market demand, but it remains a common collectible without a premium collector's value.
To authenticate your My Melody (Lolita) Pop! Sanrio, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the product code on the box matches the SKU 74 listed on the Funko website. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp details, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeits often feature blurry printing or poor molding. If the packaging appears tampered with or the figure feels lightweight and rough, it is likely a replica, so compare it directly against high-resolution images of the authentic release.
Funko does not publish specific release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures, so the exact release date for the My Melody (Lolita) figure is not reliably documented. While this character is part of the Sanrio collaboration line that launched in 2017, specific production timelines for individual variants like the Lolita version are not officially tracked by the manufacturer.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the My Melody (Lolita) Pop! Sanrio is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As a specific variant, it may be a limited edition or discontinued item, meaning it is likely only available through the secondary market.
To grade a My Melody (Lolita) Pop! Sanrio, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, paying close attention to the edges of the dress and the bow. Verify that the figure is securely seated on the base without excessive wobble and that the packaging, if present, is free of tears, creases, or discoloration. For a formal grade, submit the item to a recognized third-party authentication service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical attributes.
