Common questions about the Mysterion Pop! South Park from Funko (2017).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mysterion Pop! South Park figure is not considered rare. It was part of a standard retail release in 2017 and was widely available through major toy and collectible retailers. While its current market value may fluctuate based on condition and demand, it is a common item within the South Park Funko line.
The value of a Mysterion Pop! South Park figure from 2017 varies significantly based on condition and market demand, typically ranging from $10 to $25 for a sealed box in retail settings. As a standard release from a popular franchise, it does not generally command a premium price over its original retail value unless it is part of a complete set or has specific collector interest. Prices can fluctuate on secondary markets like eBay, so checking recent sold listings is the most accurate way to determine its current worth.
There is no record of a "Mysterion" character in the South Park franchise, nor does Funko produce a Pop! vinyl figure with that name for the 2017 release cycle. Because the item described does not exist in official Funko catalogs, it is likely a misidentified figure, a custom third-party creation, or a counterfeit product. You should verify the authenticity of any South Park figure by checking the official Funko website for the specific character name and release year, as "Mysterion" is not a recognized character in the show.
The Mysterion Pop! South Park was released in 2017 by Funko.
The Mysterion Pop! South Park figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko or its official retail partners. As a 2017 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock found today would be from remaining inventory at third-party resellers or secondary markets.
Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint defects, and mold lines, while also verifying that the box is free of creases, tears, and significant wear. For this specific 2017 release, you should check that the Mysterion figure is fully assembled with no loose parts and that the packaging remains sealed if you intend to sell it as a complete set. While third-party grading services exist for collectibles, most standard Funko Pops are valued based on their visual condition and box integrity rather than a formal numerical grade.
