No, the Nagini Pop! from Fantastic Beasts is not considered rare. It was a standard production release by Funko in 2019, meaning it was widely available and not limited to a small production run. While specific variants like Chomsky or exclusive editions may be harder to find, the standard version remains a common collectible.
The Nagini Pop! from the Fantastic Beasts series (SKU 31) typically retails for approximately $10 to $12 in new, sealed condition. As a standard, non-exclusive vinyl figure, its value does not significantly exceed its retail price unless it is part of a complete set or has a specific collector's demand. Prices for this specific item generally remain stable and do not fluctuate dramatically on the secondary market.
Funko Pop! figures do not have individual serial numbers, so authenticity is determined by examining the physical quality of the item rather than a unique identifier. Look for sharp, clean paint application, a smooth plastic finish without excessive flash marks, and a logo on the base that is crisp and not smudged. If the figure has a "Chase" variant, verify that the specific colorway matches the official release specifications for the 2019 Fantastic Beasts line.
The Nagini Pop! Fantastic Beasts was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Nagini Pop! from the Fantastic Beasts series, meaning it is no longer in print or available for purchase new from official retailers. Collectors seeking this specific figure must look to the secondary market, such as eBay or other resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or chipped plastic, and checking the window box for scratches, dents, or fading. For a professional grade, you would submit the item to a third-party service like PSA or CGC, which will assign a numerical score based on its condition relative to the manufacturer's original quality. Since the 2019 Nagini Pop! is a standard production item, its value is heavily dependent on whether it is in its original, unopened packaging.
