The Nemesis Pop! Movies (SKU 1534) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2023. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning production numbers were high and it does not carry the scarcity of limited-edition or exclusive variants.
The standard retail price for the Funko Pop! Nemesis #1534 is typically around $12.99, though market value fluctuates based on condition and demand. As a 2023 release, it is generally available at or near retail price in sealed condition, while unboxed figures may trade for less depending on local collector interest.
To authenticate a 2023 Nemesis Pop! (SKU 1534), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a matte finish and that the box features the official Funko logo and copyright information. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number, 1534, which should match the product details. Additionally, inspect the paint application for consistency and ensure the figure's proportions align with the official Nemesis character design, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor paint quality or incorrect sculpting.
The Nemesis Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Movies figures are generally produced in limited runs and are not typically kept in continuous print. While the Nemesis figure (SKU 1534) may have been available through 2023, it is likely discontinued and no longer sold as new by Funko. Availability for new units is now dependent on remaining stock at third-party retailers, which is often limited.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned eyes, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the item's centering, surface quality, and overall completeness before assigning a numerical score.
