Common questions about the Newt (Pickett) Pop! Fantastic Beasts from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Newt (Pickett) Pop! is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Fantastic Beasts line that was widely distributed through major retail channels. While specific production numbers for SKU 10 are not publicly disclosed by Funko, the item is generally available on the secondary market and does not carry the limited-edition status associated with rare collectibles.
The value of a Newt (Pickett) Pop! from the Fantastic Beasts series fluctuates based on condition, packaging integrity, and current market demand, so there is no single fixed price. As a standard retail item, its value is typically anchored to its original retail price, which is generally around $12.00 USD. To determine its exact current worth, you should check recent sold listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay or specialized collectible valuation sites.
There is no widely recognized Funko Pop! figure specifically titled "Newt (Pickett)" in the Fantastic Beasts line, as the main character is Newt Scamander and "Pickett" is not a standard character name associated with the franchise. Because this specific item description does not match known Funko catalog data, I cannot provide reliable authentication steps for a product that may not exist or is misidentified. I recommend verifying the exact character name and series against official Funko listings to ensure you are looking for the correct item.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Funko Pop! figure of Newt Scamander with the SKU 10 in the Fantastic Beasts line. While Funko has produced Newt Scamander figures for the Fantastic Beasts franchise, the specific SKU and release timeline for this exact variant are not clearly documented in available records.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Newt (Pickett) Pop! from the Fantastic Beasts line, meaning it remains in print. However, availability for this specific SKU fluctuates significantly, and it is frequently out of stock on major retail platforms like Amazon and the Funko website. You should check current inventory on authorized retailers to confirm if it is available to buy new at this time.
To condition-check a Newt (Pickett) Pop! Fantastic Beasts figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face, hands, and the wand if included. Verify that the figure is fully seated in its base without gaps and that the eyes are aligned and free of cloudiness. Check the packaging for any dents, tears, or discoloration, as these factors significantly impact the item's value for collectors.
